A unique place to sow the seeds of emotional intelligence.
Optimism is a lifestyle choice that is cultivated and develops our capacity to be happy and to contribute positively to the world.
Here, children learn self-confidence, independence, and kindness from a very young age through Montessori pedagogy.
This personalized teaching approach follows the child’s pace and teaches them to trust themselves. The child progresses freely in their learning, in an environment attentive to their well-being and individual rhythms.

At our Montessori school, we aim to help children discover their ability to overcome challenges, acquire positive and constructive social skills, and grow up with joy and respect for themselves, others, and their environment.
We encourage children to take responsibility for their learning:
- To do things for themselves, not to please others, and to understand the value of effort.
- To experiment: to dare to try and experiment individually.
- To cooperate: to learn through cooperation and group activities.
- To take ownership of their own successes and those of their classmates.
- To participate in school decisions through the weekly Children’s Council, where they share daily challenges and work together to find solutions.
- To learn mediation skills to manage conflicts.
- To learn to express yourself in public, during “show and tell” sessions and intra- and inter-class presentations.
- Benefit from the multi-age environment: be both learner and trainer in turn.
Everyday English
Each class is supervised by a native English-speaking teacher and a native French-speaking teacher. All lessons are conducted in both languages every day.
Healthy Lunch
Lunch is part of learning about eco-citizenship: learning to set and clear the table, discovering seasonal fruits and vegetables, organic products, local products, and limiting meat consumption (one vegetarian lunch per week).
Our partner helps us provide healthy and balanced meals for the children every day. Different menus are created each week using low-carbon logistics.
Circles of Optimism
Two hours of weekly workshops with elementary school students (one hour for grades 6-8 and one hour for grades 8-11), in half-groups every other week, which allow them to explore:
- Self-Relationship: Building self-confidence, identifying and naming emotions, developing resilience, being aligned, speaking positively, feeling safe, developing creativity and intuition.
- Relationships with Others: Avoiding labels, valuing others, knowing how to comfort, respecting oneself and others, cooperating, communicating with kindness.
- Relationships with the World: Expressing gratitude, being open and curious, changing one’s perspective on life, connecting with nature, living in the present moment.
Eco-citizenship
Group projects chosen by the children to support a cause: recycling workshops, biomimicry, forest walks, Forest School, presentations by external partners, and discussion workshops.
Creativity and Physical Activities
A variety of themes enlivens learning and permeates all teaching. We encourage hands-on and artistic activities to develop physical skills. Our instructors are trained in physical activities (yoga, gymnastics, team sports, partnership with an equestrian center for pony lessons) as well as musical activities (singing, flute, piano) and artistic activities (drawing, painting, art history).
