Early Learning Class (ages 2-3)
The Early Learning Class promotes socialization, independence, language and motor development. It is a preparatory year for kindergarten in a setting adapted to the youngest children.
Preschool (ages 3-6)
Children continue their learning through experimentation, handling Montessori materials, and interacting with their younger and older peers. The goal is to stimulate their love of discovery and support their first steps toward reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
Elementary School (ages 6-11)
We offer two classes for 6-9 year-olds (CP, CE1, CE2) and one class for 9-11 year-olds (CM1, CM2). You will find a well-prepared environment, conducive to sharing, listening, self-confidence, and independence for a smooth transition to middle school.
Classes 2/3 and 3/6:
Classroom open to the outdoors: opportunity to work in a garden of over 1000m²,
Discovery of nature: vegetable garden and orchard with fruit trees.
Discovery of the living world: with rabbits, turtles, and chickens.
Outdoors: Library outing every two months.
Elementary classes (6-11 years old)
Enhanced bilingualism: Cambridge Flyers program tests. Flyers level achieved by the majority of our students by the end of the elementary cycle (the A2 Flyers is the highest level of the three fun and motivating tests in the Cambridge English Young Learners series, intended for children in primary or middle school. The A2 level is expected by the end of Year 9 in the traditional system).
Theater: Theater discovery workshops, staging two plays per year, with set design.
Open to the outside world: cultural visits (the National Assembly, the Château de Monte Cristo, the Philharmonie de Paris, etc.)
Participating in the Mathador competition since 2021: Mathador is a mental arithmetic game based on the principle of “count-is-right”: students must reach a target number by combining all or part of five given numbers using four operations within a limited time. It includes two games, Mathador Solo and Mathador Chrono, which are accessible on tablets, phones, and computers. The Mathador Solo game offers 30 levels of increasing difficulty with increasingly shorter resolution times, combining “count-is-right” challenges and solving short math problems. The Mathador Chrono game requires students to solve as many challenges as possible in three minutes and includes three game modes: solo, in pairs, or in a tournament. (In 2023, 11th out of 83 participating classes in the Versailles academy)
Implementation of the Voltaire Project in CM1 and CM2: The fundamental modules of the Voltaire Project are available for elementary school children who wish to practice in a fun way the points covered in class. Based on the new French school curricula, these modules adapt to the child by identifying spelling gaps and offering a personalized course to overcome the difficulty of individualized classroom instruction.
Learning a second language is a wonderful opportunity for children to develop their curiosity, adaptability, and openness to the world.
To ensure smooth integration into English, we prioritize immersion. An English-speaking teacher works alone in the classroom and speaks exclusively in English. This allows children to develop their language skills in optimal conditions, without confusion between the two languages.
Benefits of immersion:
Natural acquisition of vocabulary and expressions.
A sharpened ear for the sounds of English.
Greater ease in communicating, playing, and interacting in English.
Back-to-school picnic to meet new families and bond.
Implementing humanitarian projects during our Christmas market (aiding sick children, funding Montessori equipment for a school in Africa with the ON’Tapa association, the Restos du Coeur, etc.)
Solidarity days: pajama day to support sick children, odd socks day in support of Down syndrome, etc.
End-of-year show and plays
Ecological project: obtaining the Eco Ecole label in June 2025.
Opening to the world: preparing for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Chinese New Year, etc.
