Educational Program

A school that instills confidence in families.

Our teaching team remains faithful to the teachings of Maria Montessori while seeking to expand and develop the acquired skills:

  • by respecting the child as an individual
  • by respecting sensitive periods of development
  • by encouraging their natural pace of development
  • by considering that the child’s education and overall development are just as important as the development of their intellectual abilities
  • by nurturing their interest in the world around them rather than simply teaching them facts
  • by using a scientific method of observation to determine the educational environment best suited to the needs and nature of each child.
  • by enabling the child to grow in an environment where they are surrounded by three languages every day

French • English • L.S.F.

Specific feature: trilingualism

French, English and L.S.F. (French Sign Language) are used in the classrooms as well as throughout the school every day. All teaching materials are designed in French and English. Our teaching team (A.M.I.-trained) has been researching and creating materials for learning L.S.F. since 2010.

In each classroom, there is a French-speaking Montessori educator, an English-speaking Montessori educator and a Montessori assistant communicating in L.S.F. Each educator communicates only in their native language. Children grow in a school environment similar to what we would find within a multilingual and multicultural family: one parent/one language.
