The pursuit of autonomy and social development in the Early Learning Class

The Early Learning Class welcomes 15 children aged 2 to 4, supervised by a French-speaking Montessori educator, an English-speaking assistant, and an assistant with a CAP Petite Enfance.

We take into account the individual needs of each child, including diapering and naps for those who wish. This first year in a group setting gently prepares them for entry into Preschool.

LIVING TOGETHER AND GROWING

Promoting socialization and autonomy

Socialization: Specific times are set aside to encourage interaction, mutual aid, and respect for others.
Motor development: The activities offered (music, motor skills, crafts) allow the child to become aware of their body and organize their body awareness.
Autonomy: Montessori materials adapted for toddlers help each child develop their motor skills, curiosity, and language.

HANDS-ON LEARNING FOR UNDERSTANDING

Concrete learning through Montessori materials

Personalized work guide: Each student has a work plan adapted to their needs and pace.
Self-correcting materials: Children can identify their own mistakes and progress independently, while benefiting from the caring support of the teaching team.
Compliance with curricula: The concepts covered follow the French National Education progressions, ensuring pedagogical consistency and the validation of learning outcomes.
