Cube School Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The leading preschool for expatriate families in Saint-Germain-en-Laye

Open since 2021, Cube School Saint-Germain-en-Laye currently welcomes over 50 children of 21 different nationalities in a resolutely international environment.

The school is designed for English-speaking and expatriate families moving to France, as well as French families seeking genuine English immersion for their children.

Located in fully renovated former stables, the school enjoys an exceptional setting with three beautiful, spacious rooms designed by an architect, and a garden including a dedicated vegetable patch.

Led by Sinéad Heslin, Cube School Saint-Germain-en-Laye offers daily bilingual immersion, supported by native English-speaking educators, allowing children to learn French progressively while maintaining a high level of English.

This approach fosters a smooth integration into the French school system and effectively prepares children to enter Year 1 (CP) in the region’s international schools.

Educational Program

A school that instills confidence in families.

The school enables each child to develop their potential through an individualised approach. As children do not have the same needs at the same time, they must be listened to, observed and taken into account according to their pace and personality. They can then become active participants in their own development through chosen experiences within an appropriate environment.
“Explore to Learn”, the school’s educational programme, promotes the four key factors in children’s learning: attention, active engagement, feedback from experience and consolidation of learning. It is based on an active learning method: the Montessori approach, with activities organised into four themes (practical life, sensorial life, mathematics and language), along with many science, art and cooking activities, as well as hands-on projects carried out by the children.
